Our work team did this tour together, and it was so much fun. We did the small bites tour and left happily full. While we're all Richmonders, it was really fun experiencing different food, learning history of some of the places in Carytown, walking the beautiful Cary Street, and talking with some of the chefs. We all really enjoyed ourselves and recommend this for anyone who enjoys food and trying new things.

History and the food! Loved the tour guide, Lynsey. It was a small group of 10 and I could hear the tour guide. Great tour!

We had a blast discovering new places we look forward to trying again as well as visiting old favorites. From deli foods to French bistro fare, comfort foods to Sri Lankan dishes, and healthy smoothies to decadent (and divine) cupcakes, there was truly something for everyone. And everyone talked about how they felt like they were waddling between our last two stops! Plus, we got a little dose of RVA history and how the Carytown district came to be. We're both Richmonders, but we look forward to doing another RVA food tour soon to discover some new places in our hometown!

The four of us enjoyed the experience in Carytown. The food was amazing and the portion sizes were much larger than expected. Our guide Lindsay was very friendly and provided a lot of very interesting information about the places we visited. Would definitely recommend to friends and would love to go on another tour next time we are in Richmond.

Our company sponsors a team-building activity every year, and we have chosen River City Food Tours for the last 4 years. They mix in history and amazing restaurants with fabulous food! Each tour I have been on, I learn something new about RVA or the area of town we tour. The next time I have someone in from out of town, I am definitely rebooking! Highly recommend Brian and his team - so so fun!

Having never been on a food tour, this looked interesting. I can’t say enough of how much fun we had. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, fun, and informative. The food was delish, and the walk from restaurant to restaurant was enjoyable. This was one of those let’s give it a try things to do for us that turned out great. Will definitely do another.

River City Food Tours was amazing! Tour guide Erin was friendly and very knowledgeable about the Carytown area and all the cuisine. Food was delicious and having tried food from places never tried before made you want to go back for a meal! Trust you wont go hungry either on this tour! Great for business outings! Simply must try!

My family really enjoyed the tour. They were originally hesitate to go with strangers but everyone made them feel so comfortable. The guide even had a special birthday cupcake waiting for them at the end. Thank you.
